The importance of a balanced diet

As part of a daily balanced nutritional plan, MorEPA provides you with the best results to maintain your health and immune system.
The more you limit the intake of saturated fats and omega-6 fatty acids in your diet, the more you will benefit from nutritional products that are rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Saturated fats and omega-6 fatty acids compete with omega-3 fatty acids to obtain a place on cell membranes (the walls of the cells). Also, omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids counteract each other in order to control inflammatory reactions. Therefore, you should limit the use of vegetable oils and margarines (corn oil, sun flower oil ...) that are rich in omega-6 and substitute those with flax seed oil (omega-3) or olive oil. It is advisable to increase your intake of foods that are rich in omega-3 by eating small portions of (half) fatty fish, green leafy vegetables, nuts and flax seeds. Also, limit your intake of animal products to nutritional products from animals that have been raised on foods rich in omega-3 (for instance, eggs from chickens that eat flax seeds).
